The Bliss is a real gem! We renovated this amazing ground floor flat with the ultimate sustainable technology. Interior decorations are made with ancient pieces coming from a hundred years old barn along with pieces of furniture and tools belonging to our ancient rural life and tradition. The hand decorated wooden cupboard in the living room comes from an 1850 wedding trousseau. The King size bed (180x200) has been created using the original beams from the old family barn along with the intertwining beams which decorate the bedroom wall. We have sought out every detail needed to create an atmosphere that is truly unique.
The large front wooden deck is a natural extension of the house for the days you want to indulge in relaxation.
We take personal care of the cleaning with high standards. Our bed linens are crispy, fresh-smelling and some of them are part of my grannie’s nuptial trousseau ensuring you a lifetime’s sleep.
Our fully equipped kitchen is perfect for a dinner at home.

I'm a 58-year-old pure Dolomitian. My family ancestors rooted in this valley around 1500 and never left. I, therefore, grew up here nourished by centuries of local history and traditions.
I left few years to get my degree in Foreign Languages and Literature in the beautiful medieval town of Bologna.
I'm an avid traveler and all my breaks are dedicated to the discovery of new countries, places and meeting people.
I'm a former ski instructor and former mountain bike guide with a huge passion for photography. I'm a mother of three who are now experiencing life and studying abroad.
My husband and I are in the tourism business from a long time now. We share the same love for outdoor activities and we racked up a concrete amount of experiences we can share with you.

Like most of the mountain Alpine resorts, Cortina is composed by few little villages and hamlets once separated and now all connected to the center. The Bliss is nestled in one of these cuddle ancient villages called Salieto from the latin word Slaicetum = Willow forest.
Getting around
The apartment is located in a quiet and secluded area just outside of the hustle and bustle of the centre.
We strongly recommend our guest to have their own car. Our private parking will give you the opportunity to eventually leave the car and go by feet or using the local bus service #2 which has a very convenient stop just 50mt in front of the house. Having a car is warmly suggested, this will give you the perfect flexibility to discover the mesmerizing enchant of the Dolomites.
Unfortunately, bus services and shuttles are not always efficient.

Cancellation policy
The reservation will be confirmed with the payment of 30% deposit. The balance has to be paid 30 days before the starting of the lease. If balance is not paid in the indicated time the reservation is automatically cancelled and deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellations are allowed with a full refund of the amounts paid up to 30 days prior to the stay. After this date, no refunds will be issued.

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni al Bliss e sono stati davvero meravigliosi. La casa è accogliente e ben attrezzata, con tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno. Dal villaggio di Salieto, è facilissimo partire per escursioni verso la Croda da Lago, il Becco di Mezzodi e Mondeval. Nel nostro soggiorno, c'era così tanto caldo che abbiamo potuto fare il bagno nel lago di Federa (anche se non si potrebbe, ma chiudono un occhio)

Abbiamo soggiornato al Masito The Bliss e ci siamo trovati benissimo! L’appartamento è molto accogliente e pulitissimo, curato in ogni dettaglio. Dispone di due stanze, ciascuna con il proprio bagno privato, un ampio salotto perfetto per rilassarsi, una cucina attrezzatissima e una terrazza ideale per godersi momenti di tranquillità. La posizione è ottima: a circa due chilometri dal centro di Cortina, è un punto di partenza ideale per le escursioni nella zona. Si trova vicino ai laghi di Pianozes, Ajal e Federa, luoghi meravigliosi da visitare. A noi è piaciuta tantissimo l’escursione alle Gores di Federa, che si può intraprendere direttamente a piedi partendo da casa.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It is an adorable apartment and immaculately clean. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view is outstanding!! It was so nice to be away from busy downtown Cortina in such a peaceful location. Ute was an outstanding host with great suggestions for hiking and restaurants. Just follow them all! It is paradise! We left a part of our heart.

Lovely quiet apartment on outskirts of town. As long as you have a car, you can enjoy all the amenities of Cortina. Driving to the ski slopes was very easy. Parking in town was tricky but it was the busiest week of the year.

It is our 3rd time back at the apartment so needless to say we love it! Ute, as ever, was a great host and even though we come back to Cortina every year she always gives us tips on what is new in the city. The apartment is as comfortable as ever and apart from using it as a base to explore the various ski spots it is also a great apartment to work remotely from. I am sure we will be back to the apartment next year!
